What is a Product Proof?

A product proof is used to describe an actual product that has been made and/or printed for your pre-approval before completing your order. Product proofs are available on most products and the costs associated with their creation will include pre-payment of Screen Charges, Set-up Charges, Additional Color Run Charges, PMS Color Match Charges, Shipping Charges and certain other charges may apply. Usually all or a portion of the Product Proof Charges can be applied as a credit towards a final order. If a second Product Proof, or third, etc., is required, another set of charges will also apply and are not credited. Another name for product proof is Pre-Production Proof or Pre-Production Sample. Due to the high cost and delay in delivery of your completed order, a Product Proof is only recommended for highly detailed or strict PMS color applications.

What is a Pre-Production Sample vs a Random Sample?

A Pre-Production Sample is a totally customized product containing your logo vs a Random Sample which is embellished with another companies logo.
